Kenny says:
Jimmy has been my friend for over thirty years.
We worked together in Main St. [see below] , a band in the 70's that played all over the country.
We are currently involved together in a number of projects, including producing my sixth album,
and a project for Disney Corp.
He also administers this web site for me.

Jim is a one-man orchestra, adding vocals and horns to his keyboard and electronic magic.
Please take a few moments and sample some of his music by clicking on a song link.

Main St.

My "afro" ** circa 1974 **

Main St. was a show group that played in lounges when they were "big", including Harvey's Tahoe, Harrah's Tahoe, Mother's in Kansas City, many MANY Ramada Inns when they had the corner on the lounge market.

During an engagement at the Ramada Inn in Sharonville, (Cincinnati), Ohio, (November 1974) we had the pleasure of meeting and yakking with Elvis for a short time - about 20 minutes. He was in town for a huge concert in Cincinnati, so he and his band and entourage had taken the top 2 floors of the hotel. After the concert he agreed to meet us and pose for some pictures. Unfortunately the cameraman (a hotel manager) was so nervous, he forgot to get us all in the shots, so.... what you see is what we got!

Well, anyway, a couple of guys from Elvis' band caught our last show that night, and we spent most of the rest of the night playing pool with them in the hotel rec room, while Elvis had a poker party going on in his suite.

On his death in 1977, I couldn't help but remember how gracious he was during that short meeting time, and how friendly and down-to-earth and (I think) "lost"... as if somehow still dazed by it all.
